Summer Workcamps 2015

Subscriptions are open to the Summer Workcamps 2015 carried out in the framework of the project Life Caretta Calabria (Action E.1). There are provided two rounds:

24/07/2015 - 6/08/2015 and 8/08/2015 - 21/08/2015

The volunteers will be involved in the following integrated activities: cleaning of the dunes from the waste, day and night monitoring of nests, planting of indigenous species in the dunal area; collection and classification of the beach litter, sensibilisation of tourists and inhabitants. The volunteers will learn about the aspects of a fair management of delicate ecosystems such as the dunal ones.

Special Requirements: a particular interest towards biodiversity and coastal ecosystems is recommended. English will be the official language in the camp; a basic knowledge of Italian would be appreciated
